BLT Sunday

After a twenty hour working day at the Burning Man Decompression Party, I got home at 7.30 am, tired and exhausted. I wasn’t in the mood to prepare an elaborate breakfast.
I took a two-hour nap but woke up to see Lukas, my 6-month old son staring at me waiting to play. Time to take care of business.
I never knew that I liked bacon so much. It seems like it is in all of my morning meals, but so what? It is after all real tasty.
Today it was going to be my version of a BLT. Again, starting with slowly cooked bacon, crisp lettuce, juicy tomato and to top it off ripe avocado with a sprinkle of sea salt and ground black pepper. All of this placed on a lightly toasted freshly baked country bread, covered with rich butter.
Nothing fancy to rinse it down with, just a mimosa and a freshly brewed cup of java.
Now off to play with Lukas.
That’s it, see you next week.
Watch out Martha Stewart!!
Would love for her to teach me a few things though!
Looks yummy!
Thanks, it was pretty good. How have you been?
Hey, what’s up primo!?
I think that you’re gonna have to cook one of these delicious breakfasts for us when you come to Vegas. They look pretty good, spacially the benedicts… And the mimosa sound great!!!
See you in a few days.
